of bicycles on Earth, from their inception to the heights of universal consciousness, all made possible by the wheel. Eras illustrated include the Golden Age of Bicycles, the Fossil-Fuel Interval, the Global Energy Peak, the Anarchy Ride, and the Velorution. The eighth stage depicts Cyclotopia, a distant utopian future in which a cycle-minded society appreciates the unity of all things.
